this?\n\nThis package exposes an algorithm to batch changes to lists of events,\nneeded when authoring complex resolvers, such as for tables or lists.\n\n## When should I use this?\n\nThis package is only useful when you are making your own micromark extensions\nthat need to change many places in lists of events,\nsuch as injecting the result of parsing subcontent,\nor cleaning up how a construct is represented.\n\n## Install\n\nThis package is [ESM only][esm].\nIn Node.js (version 16+), install with [npm][]:\n\n```sh\nnpm install micromark-util-edit-map\n```\n\nIn Deno with [`esm.sh`][esmsh]:\n\n```js\nimport {EditMap} from 'https://esm.sh/micromark-util-edit-map@1'\n```\n\nIn browsers with [`esm.sh`][esmsh]:\n\n```html\n<script type=\"module\">\n  import {EditMap} from [])\n\neditMap.consume(events)\n```\n\n## API\n\nThis module exports the identifier [`EditMap`][api-edit-map].\nThere is no default export.\n\n### `EditMap()`\n\nCreate a new edit map.\n\n###### Returns\n\nNew instance (`EditMap`).\n\n### `EditMap#add(index, remove, add)`\n\nCreate an edit: a remove and/or add at a certain place.\n\n###### Parameters\n\n* `index` (`number`)\n  — index at which to apply the edit\n* `remove` (`number`)\n  — count of items to remove at the index\n* `add` (`Array<Event>`)\n  — items to add at the index\n\n###### Returns\n\nNothing (`undefined`).\n\n### `EditMap#addBefore(index, remove, add)`\n\nCreate an edit: but insert `add` before existing additions at `index`,\ninstead of after them.\n\n###### Parameters\n\n* `index` (`number`)\n  — index at which to apply the edit\n* `remove` (`number`)\n  — count of items to remove at the index\n* `add` (`Array<Event>`)\n  — items to add at the index\n\n###### Returns\n\nNothing (`undefined`).\n\n### `EditMap#consume(events)`\n\nDone, change the events.\n\n###### Parameters\n\n* `events` (`Array<Event>`)\n  — list of events to apply the edits to\n\n###### Returns\n\nNothing (`undefined`).\n\n## Types\n\nThis package is fully typed with [TypeScript][].\nIt exports no additional types.\n\n## Compatibility\n\nProjects maintained by the unified collective are compatible with maintained\nversions of Node.js.\n\nWhen we cut a new major release, we drop support for unmaintained versions of\nNode.\nThis means we try to keep the current release line,\n`micromark-util-edit-map@1`, compatible with
