[License](#license)\n\n## Overview\n\n**convex-vue** is a Vue.js integration library for [Convex](https://convex.dev) - the backend application platform with a built-in database.\n\n## Features\n\n+ 👌 Simply add it to your Vue app and use the provided composables.\n\n```js\nimport { convexVue } from 'convex-vue'\nimport { createApp } from 'vue'\nimport App from './App.vue'\n\nconst app = createApp(App)\n\napp.use(convexVue, {\n  url: 'your-convex-deployment-url'\n})\n\napp.mount('#app')\n```\n\n### Composables\n\n#### useConvexClient\n\nThe `useConvexClient` composable provides access to the Convex client instance. You can use it to call Convex functions directly or implement custom logic.\n\n```js\nimport { useConvexClient } from 'convex-vue'\n\n// In your component\nconst client = useConvexClient()\n```\n\n#### useConvexQuery\n\nThe `useConvexQuery` composable is used to fetch data from Convex. It automatically handles subscriptions and reactivity, so your components will update in real time when the data changes.  \nOn the server, it will trigger a standard query (without subscription).\n\n```js\nimport { useConvexQuery } from 'convex-vue'\nimport { api } from '../convex/_generated/api'\n\n// In your component or composable\nconst { data, isPending, error } = useConvexQuery(api.myModule.myQuery, { param: 'value' })\n```\n\n#### useConvexMutation\n\nThe `useConvexMutation` composable is used to call Convex mutations. It provides a function that you can call to trigger the mutation, and it automatically handles loading and error states.\n\n```js\nimport { useConvexMutation } from 'convex-vue'\nimport { api } from '../convex/_generated/api'\n// In your component or composable\nconst { mutate, isPending, error } = useConvexMutation(api.myModule.myMutation)\n\nasync function handleClick() {\n  // mutate returns a promise with an object that contains a result or error property\n  const { result, error: mutationError } = mutate({ param: 'value' })\n}\n```\n\n#### Suspense and SSR Support\n\nBy default when using `useConvexQuery`, the data property will be undefined until the query is complete.  \nBy using the suspense function, you can await the result of the query.
